Do you want to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst®?

Essential Behavioral Development offers supervision to those seeking board certification, who are motivated and dedicated to building the skills necessary to become a successful BCBA®. We offer both in-person and remote options and the experiences offered meet the standards put in place by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®. 

Supervision activities will include:

 

  • Observation and performance feedback
  • Behavioral Skills Training (BST)
  • Conducting assessments, including behavioral, skills, and preference/reinforcer assessments
  • Designing, implementing, and monitoring skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs for progress or change
  • Overseeing the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others
  • Creation and ongoing use of tools needed for progress monitoring, including data sheets, graphs, clinical notes, and progress summaries
  • Training others to implement behavioral strategies, including developing training materials
  • Case review and discussion
  • Review of the BACB's Task List and Compliance Code to demonstrate comprehension

 

Our supervisors meet the standards for supervision that are required by the BACB® to supervise exam candidates who are working towards their fieldwork hours, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA®) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT®). Our supervisors also meet the requirements to supervise individuals who are pursuing licensure as a BCBA® through the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.
